After 13 years in the food and beverage industry, Barris Foust of Foust House LLC has embarked on a new venture within his company. Catering is now available in North Carolina and Georgia. When speaking with Mr. Foust about this exciting news he tells us that his life has always been geared around food and the love that goes in it. "As a young boy I remember being in the kitchen with my mom making great meals and my dad baking amazing cakes and desserts. It was always something we did together", says Foust. He continues by saying, "The call was too great not to look into the opportunity of food; it is my life after all!"
Barris' career in food began in 1999 and has excelled him into some very powerful positions throughout the years. He served as a general manager and operator of several multi-million dollar operations through North Carolina and currently holds the position as head chef at the Siemens Corporation in Alpharetta, GA via Eurest Dining Services; whose parent organization is Compass Group NA. Compass Group NA is the world leader in foodservice management and support service with over 15 billion dollars in revenue in 2011 and continues to grow each year. So it is obvious that Barris has placed himself in good company. "I have been blessed to be where I am in my career and I can only go up from here, which is why I made the conscience decision to create a catering company. Not only does that coincide with the marketing and promotions that we currently do but it also stands firmly as a great business alone", says Foust. "We always look for new ways to make our clients business better and not only can we promote and market some of the best private and public events out there, we can feed you as well; with some amazing food I must add", as he laughs!
